PROMAT Engineering Sales (2003) Inc. is stepping into the spotlight this season as a proud supporter of Georgetown District High School’s Revolt Robotics team—Team 4976—one of Ontario’s most competitive and consistently high‑performing FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) teams. Their partnership highlights a shared commitment to engineering excellence, youth development, and hands‑on innovation.

🚀 PROMAT’s Role in Supporting Future Engineers, Programmers, Builders, and Business Entrepreneurs
PROMAT Engineering Sales (2003) Inc. is a Mississauga‑based provider of custom bulk material‑handling equipment and engineering. The company has built its reputation on precision, problem‑solving, and customer‑focused design. Those same values make their sponsorship of a youth robotics team a natural fit.
Their support helps empower students who are learning to design, build, and program industrial‑type robots—skills that mirror real‑world engineering challenges.
🤖 Inside Revolt Robotics: A Team with a Track Record
Revolt Robotics, founded in 2014 at Georgetown District High School, has grown into a competitive force within the FIRST Robotics community. You can explore their stats and history on the official FIRST event database:

The team has competed in dozens of events, earned multiple awards, and even made it to the FIRST Championship.
In 2025, the team continued to push forward, competing in Ontario district events and winning the ONT District Humber Polytechnic Event.
Their dedication is evident not only in their performance but also in the culture of mentorship, teamwork, leadership, and technical ability they’ve built over the years.
🎼 What FIRST Robotics Competition Looks Like
Each year, FIRST releases a brand‑new themed engineering challenge. Teams have just six to eight weeks to design, build, and program a 120‑lb robot capable of completing complex tasks on a dynamic playing field.

This year’s FIRST Robotics Competition game is REBUILT™, a fast‑paced challenge where alliances score yellow foam “fuel” spheres into a central hub and climb a three‑rung tower—combining elements from past games like Aim High and Rapid React.

Matches are 2 minutes and 40 seconds, featuring:
- 20‑second autonomous period
- 10‑second transition
- 2 minutes and 10 seconds of teleop/endgame
🛠️ A Shared Vision for Innovation
PROMAT and Revolt Robotics share a belief in building things that matter—whether it’s Bulk Material Handling systems that keep the world moving or competition robots that inspire the next generation of innovators. Their collaboration is more than sponsorship; it’s an investment in future talent and in the local community.
We at PROMAT are anticipating another successful season, and wish the Revolt team great success in 2026!
